Friday!

I have no time during the week to blog so until the end of this semester, I will probably only post on weekends. I just finished listening to the interview and the Avett Brothers piece I had written, and Jeremy Deal's poem and short story. I loved it! What a wicked crazy, yet I can sort of imagine it happening kinda story. He has a great tone to his voice and he was really fun to listen to.
You know how when you hear your voice recorded and you cringe? Well I didn't for the first time! BTW, why do they say you shouldn't use exclamations? What's deal with that? Anyway, I had a lot of fun with Rachel and I hope she lets me on the show again :)
After I read my editorial about the Avett's concert, we had really cool discussion about the band, and the whole concept of interpreting music. I hope you listen to the show. check it out

So, this is my first post. I have spent most of the morning setting up the design for this blog and it was really fun. I am here because I am submitting some of my work to be aired on UNCW's radio show, The Writers Bloc. Last week I met Rachel, the master mind behind the show, and I am so excited to work with her. She's very cool, and we both like to say "peeps", so I thought that was pretty funny. I have a lot of things I want to share, and I hope everyone will find them interesting :) I had fun posting pictures and videos of some of the things in my life, and I will probabaly be adding more stupid stuff..I'm just a little silly. On a serious note, this blog is designed for writers of all genres to share their stories and provoke thoughtful insights from their listeners. I hope many writers will join this great show and blog with us as well.
